Are there “bad people” in the world?
Those who hurt others, really loathe themselves.
Only people in pain do painful things to others.
Those who are suffering create suffering.
Consider that all people are “good”, but some are in so much “pain and suffering” and hate themselves so much, that they hurt others and cause pain and suffering.
Nelson Mandela said:
“No one is born hating another person because of the color of their skin or his background, or religion. People must learn to hate. And if a person can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
Love comes more naturally from the human “heart” because at our core we ARE love. We are “good” at our deepest level.
You will see and experience “bad people” doing “bad things” in your life. You may witness it, you may be the recipient of ‘bad deeds”, and we all at some times are the people that actually do the “bad things” to others. We, at some times, will hurt others and be the cause of pain and suffering in others.
In each instance, be understanding. Be compassionate. Be forgiving. Let things go. Release your hate. Doing so frees you. If you are judgmental, critical, and condemning, you will remain bound to that hate, fear, pain and suffering.
Nelson Mandela said these words when he was released from prison after more than 25 years:
“As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I did not leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I would still be in prison.”
You have the keys to your personal prison. Let go and release your anger, bitterness, hatred, disappointment and fears. Allow the love within you to flow. Liberate yourself. Be free. It is within your power. It is your birthright.
Much love, and may you never be the same.
