This is the Christmas season. It is celebrated by Christians and in many countries, non-Christians as well.
For those who do celebrate this holiday, you may notice that at this time of year, everyone seems a little “merrier”, a little happier, a little more joyful. During the “holidays”, we all seem to feel more loving, more kind, and more compassionate. During this season we all seem to “feel good” to some degree, a little more than normal.
There is a reason for this. During this season we all tend to think more about GIVING than RECEIVING. We are more focused on what gifts we can GIVE to those we love. We are thinking about others more than ourselves. We think of the delicious holiday foods we can have others taste and think of how good it will be for THEM to enjoy the fruits of our love and labor in the kitchen. We think of giving to the underprivileged, the needy, the children who will not get presents. We think of those who are hungry and perhaps even give food to shelters or volunteer some time to help out in soup kitchens or at our churches. We give kindness to others, warm greetings of “Merry Christmas” and help out our neighbors without thinking about it. This is all “giving”. When we GIVE, we are happier. When we GIVE, we release and let go of fear, of “wanting”, of feelings of “lack” in our lives. This leads to the release of inner joy.
The secret to living is giving.
There is a “science” that proves that “giving” in all forms creates joy in our hearts, and prosperity in our lives. Giving does create health, wealth and happiness. There is an actual scientific formula for giving that if followed, creates miracles and opens the floodgates for blessings to pour into your lives. Read my Lessons on Giving:
