Practice Both Mental And Physical Quietness To Connect Your Mind To Access The Universal Collective Mind 

The French Mathematician Blaise Pascal once said:

“All human problems stem from the inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”

This is not coming from a religious leader, spiritual master or philosopher, but rather from a mathematician.

Think about his statement.

Try this experiment. Set a timer for 5 minutes, and sit quietly with your eyes closed, trying not to move or fidget. Try this now and then come back to continue.

How did that feel?

Many people get anxious, nervous, bored, agitated or even frightened and very uncomfortable. Many people feel like the 5 minutes was an eternity.

Here is an interesting fact. Extremely successful people and geniuses all sit alone by themselves for extended periods of time. Not 5 minutes, but rather 30 minutes, or even hours at a time.

This has been confirmed by reading biographies and autobiographies of people like Ford, Carnegie, Mellon, J.P. Morgan, Edison, Tesla, Elon Musk, Rockefeller, Sam Walton, Einstein, Steven Jobs, Jeff Bezos, Michael Bloomberg, Branson, and the list goes on and on.

The ability to sit for extended periods of time and be happy, content and centered is something that spiritual masters and highly evolved beings have always learned to do. These include the Dalai Lama, Saints of the past including Mother Theresa, Jesus, Gurus such as Muktananda, Yogananda, GuruMayi, Michael Singer and millions more from all around the world.

Sitting quietly and not moving, releasing thoughts, and just “being” means you must confront “yourself”. This is the secret to happiness. When you know who you are, and love who you are, you are in bliss. This is called SELF Realization. This comes from sitting in stillness.

Being still physically is one thing. Having a “still and quiet” mind is yet another level.

Everyone can learn to be still physically and mentally with consistent practice. There are many benefits that you will enjoy if you can enjoy sitting in both physical and mental stillness for at least 20 minutes at a time. Your world will magically improve in almost every area of your life.

Successful people who have made lots of money have always gone into a room, shut the door, and in many cases shut off the lights. They would just sit, thinking of nothing, but rather allow themselves to be plugged into the “ether”. In doing this they accessed the “Universal Field” and accepted the “download” of information into their minds.

They also listened to that “still small voice” inside of them. This is their intuition. Being still and quiet allowed their subconscious minds to “do the work and figure it all out”, as well as present them with inspiration and allowed for “genius” to be released.

These geniuses, titans of industry and spiritual masters all knew that cultivating the ability to sit quietly and be still, is a secret to attaining one’s desires, and most importantly, attaining ultimate peace and joy within.

Sit. Be still.

I asked the Lord to give me success.

The Lord said to me,

Be still and know that I am God.

Be still and know that I am.

Be still and know.

Be still.
